It's hard to find a better date night uniform than the little black dress.
Zendaya put her own spin on the classic wardrobe staple through a little DIY magic. While departing a New York City hotel hand in hand with boyfriend Tom Holland, the Emmy Award–winning actress was photographed wearing a black long-sleeved button-up as a minidress. She cinched her waist with a broad black belt with a gold buckle and left the cuffs unbuttoned for extra flair. Underneath the dress, the Euphoria star wore black Wolford tights, black heeled pumps, and a gold necklace.
Meanwhile, Holland looked suave in a light-gray suit, a black turtleneck, and black Chelsea boots.
The couple's date night appearance comes after a string of flashy red-carpet stints while promoting their latest blockbuster film, Spider-Man: No Way Home.
During their press tour, Zendaya wore multiple themed outfits that payed homage to the Marvel franchise. In Paris, the actress's longtime stylist, Law Roach, dressed her in a vintage Roberto Cavalli gown (which was "re-edited" by the label's creative director, Fausto Puglisi) that featured a gold skeletal detail down the open back, a subtle reference to Spider-Man villain Doctor Octopus. In London, Zendaya wore a dazzling Alexander McQueen ensemble that included thigh-high black stockings embellished with a web of crystals, as well as sparkly cobweb earrings. Finally, in Los Angeles, she walked the red carpet in a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown with black spiderwebs embroidered all over.
